GENERAL

The Bothy is ideal for a couple or for three persons only. Accommodation is all on the same level except for one step in the Hall. There is parking adjacent to the front door.

We do not allow pets.

DESCRIPTION

The Bothy in Fremington is an 18th Century single storey stone built cottage, originally the gardeners cottage for the walled kitchen garden of Fremington Hall, in which it sits. The cottage is built into the twelve foot garden walls and its unusually high 'T' fall ceilings are open beamed throughout (except secondary hall). The Bothy has been renovated to a high standard with double glazing and full central heating. The cottage now enjoys electric fired radiator based central heating so there are no open fires to light, tend or worry about. Bathroom and kitchen are new.

The cottage composes a large lounge, generous kitchen, two small double bedrooms and a compact bathroom.

GARDEN/SITTING AREAS:

Enjoying a southern aspect the pleasant and very secluded garden with a patio and seating areas for those 'al fresco' meals. For those wanting to enjoy a quiet day in the garden the lawn and sitting areas are regular sun traps. There is plenty of space to use a disposable barbeque.
