PRICES

The Bothy holiday cottage is operated exclusively from this website. We do not employ booking agents.

Our prices include heating (excluding June/July/August), towels and laundry. There are no hidden charges.

The Bothy is available on a week(s) only basis from 1st April to 30th September each year.

We do not offer short breaks or long weekends.

HOW TO BOOK

Please consult the availability charts below to see if the cottage is free for the week(s) you require.

If it is free the click the 'Make Enquiry' link on the appropriate date line which will open an email on your computer. Please include the date of the week you wish to book, your name & telephone number. The time of your email enquiry will be used if two or more enquiries arrive simultaneously.

We will send you a reply email with full instructions on how to pay a deposit and/or settle in full for your holiday.

HOW TO PAY - CHEQUE or PAYPAL

Please do not send any payment until we have replied to your initial email enquiry.

We accept payment by personal cheque or PayPal for both deposits and/or payment in full.

If paying by PayPal your holiday will be booked as soon as we receive confirmation your deposit/full fee hits our account. You will see confirmation of this on the website with BOOKED against your week(s).

If paying by cheque please allow at least 10 working days for your cheque to clear. Your deposit will be acknowledged on the website by PENDING appearing against the week of your choice. Any other query for this week will be queued until your cheque is cleared. As soon as your cheque has cleared we will book your holiday and you will see BOOKED against your week(s).

If you choose to pay a deposit only we will notify you of the balance owed and the date by which we expect the account to be paid in full.

REFUNDS

Your deposit will be refunded in total less 20% for administration provided you notify us by email or phone no later than one calendar month before the commencement date of your holiday. (If your week commences 09/06/18 you need to cancel before 09/05/18). A cancellation after this period will forfeit your deposit.

If you have paid in full for your holiday we will refund your payment in total minus a small administration fee of £25.00 provided you notify us by email or phone by no later than one calendar month before the commencement date of your holiday. A cancellation after this period will forfeit your full payment.

To protect yourself from unforseen circumstances we strongly recommend you take out an appropriate holiday insurance to cover loss of deposit and/or full holiday payment should you have to cancel your holiday less than one calendar month before its commencement date. We cannot offer such insurance.

If, however, any cancellation is due to problems outside your control (double bookings, fire, flood or tempest or any other acts of God) we will issue a full refund of either your deposit and/or full payment.

Once again please do not send any payment until we have replied to your initial email enquiry.

GENERAL OCCUPANCY CONDITIONS

The Bothy is let on a weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday.

You may arrive at The Bothy no earlier than 15.00pm on your first Saturday afternoon and we ask you to vacate The Bothy by 10.00am the following Saturday morning.

The weekly charge includes heating costs (excluding June, July, August) towels and laundry. We have no hidden extras.

There is a single parking space adjacent to the cottage.

Once again we urge you to take out an appropriate UK holiday insurance.
